Taj Essentials respects the privacy of customers who visit our website, use the Taj Essentials mobile app, shop with us, or book a Taj Experience. This notice explains what information we use and how to ask us to change or delete it.
 
INFORMATION USED TO SERVE YOU
When you create an account, make a purchase, join a membership, book a service, or contact us, we receive the details needed for that action. These may include your name, email, phone number, shipping or billing details, order and payment status, booking details, messages, and membership history. Checkout and payment providers handle payment information needed to complete transactions.
 
SCENT PROFILES AND SAVED MIXES
If you ask us to remember a fragrance preference or blend, Taj staff may record preferred notes, formulas or mixes, and related service history so we can help you find scents and remake an eligible blend through Run It Back. Staff manage and verify saved formulas. A saved profile is for your service; it is not a public profile and is not sold. A feature described for the app may become available at a later date; this notice does not mean every feature is active now.
 
OPTIONAL BIRTHDAY OFFERS AND MARKETING
A birthday supplied for a booking is used to arrange that experience. If you separately choose to receive offers or share a birthday for gifts, we may use your contact details and birthday to send relevant gifts, coupons or discounts. Birthday and scent preferences for offers are optional. You can stop promotional email or messages using the instructions in a message or by contacting us. Service notices, such as booking or order updates, may still be sent when needed.
 
WEBSITE AND APP TECHNOLOGY
Wix and tools used to operate our website and app may process device and usage information, such as IP address, browser or device details, pages or screens viewed, and cookies or similar technologies. We use this information to run, secure and understand the services. Embedded maps, social links and other external features may take you to another provider with its own privacy practices.
 
SHARING AND EXTERNAL SERVICES
Taj Essentials does not sell customer scent profiles, saved formulas or personal information, or give them to another business for its own marketing. Wix and providers used for hosting, checkout, payments, bookings, delivery, communications and site operations may process information needed to deliver those functions. We may disclose information when required by law. If you choose the separate Square Rewards link, you interact with Square under its own privacy notice; the Taj Rewards link is not a transfer of your saved scent formula. We do not use a customer's scent information to penalize or discriminate against them.
 
CHILDREN AND LIL' MIXERS
A parent or guardian should book Lil' Mixers and provide only the child's details needed for the appointment, such as a name, age or birthday when relevant. We use those details to arrange the experience, not to market directly to a child. Children under 13 should not create their own Taj Essentials account or submit information through the app. A parent or guardian may contact us about a child's information.
 
HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
We keep account, service and saved-blend information while needed to serve you and manage your account, and transaction records for legitimate business or legal obligations. We remove information when it is no longer needed or after an applicable deletion request, subject to records we must retain. We use Wix and our providers' security tools and limit access to people who need the information for Taj services. No online service can promise absolute security.
 
YOUR CHOICES AND DATA REQUESTS
You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of information Taj Essentials maintains about you, including a saved scent profile. To request deletion of your Taj Essentials account and associated data, email ezaz.tajessentials@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Taj Essentials account” from your account email, or use our website contact form and state that request. We may verify that the account is yours. If you have an active Fragrance Passport membership, it may need to be canceled before the Wix member account can be removed; contact us and we will help with that step. Deletion of an account may remove its saved mixes and member access. We will process information we control and coordinate with the providers involved, subject to records we must retain, and confirm completion. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete an account.
